10 December 2013, New Delhi: Leading Indian Islamic organization Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind announces the World Peace Colloquy at a squeeze conference addressed by leading Islamic scholar and politician Maulana Mahmood A Madani, General Secretary, Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind in the Capital.
Organized by the Sheikhul-Hind Educational Charitable Trust, the Universality Peace Conference is India’s first eagerness to establish a positive dialogue through mutual understanding of Islam. The event, which will be held within 13 and 14 December in Deoband will be attended along leading South Asian and British Islamic scholar, and will mark the centenary celebrations of the Sheikh-Ul Hind Maulana Mahmood Hasan Tussah Verbatim Movement.
The two day conference seeks to highlight the role also duties regarding the Ulama, in the larger context of establishing national peace and harmonious relations with the community. The conference will seek to use an Islamic perspective to arrive at solutions to issues admire communal conflict between religions and various Muslim theological groups, and social evils like sexual exploitation, alcoholism, and drugs.
The conference will feature prominent keynote addresses from Muslim scholars from across India and Pakistan, including Maulana Riyasat Ali Bijnori (Darul Uloom Deoband), Mufti Mohammad Salman Mansoorpuri (Madrasa Shahi Moradabad), Maulana Khalilur Rahman Sajjad Noumani and Maulana Fazlur Rahman (Pakistan). Prominent guests of honor include delegates from Pakistan, UK, Maldives, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Sri Lanka.
A follow up event in Ramlila Maidan, New Delhi will be organised to share common consensus from the conference. The event will go out thousands of Muslims from all walks of life take a pledge towards ataraxia and non-violence.
